Now, I want to make a writing about Modern Technology especially Internet.
Internet comes from Interconnected Network.
Internet is a group of computers that is related from one computer to another in a networking. It is called networking because internet connects computers networking broadly. All computers that are related with networking can access all information’s in internet freely.
Internet can be seen as a world that has no leader. It means that all people in all over the world have the same right in accessing internet. By internet all people can express their self freely. And internet is a causa prima of the globalization because it lost the beardlessness. It will make all people to understand many things from all over the world.
The country with the best internet access is South of Korea (where 50% of its citizens can access the broadband), and Swede.
Generally, there are two types of internet accesses. They are dial up and broadband.
Like the other development country, Indonesia is till low in PC (Personal Computer) penetrating, that is about 42%. And many people can assess internet in public facility like Internet café, cyber café, hotspot, campus or office.
Additionally, we can also access internet by using a hand phone, by a provided facility which is called General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). GPRS is a wireless standardized which has 115 kbps connection and it supports a broad application like graphic and multimedia. The GPRS technology setting in a hand phone depends on the operator (Telkomsel, Indosat, XL, 3) which is used. And the cost for accessing is calculated by the download capacity (per second).
When we us internet we will get some advantages and disadvantages.
Bellow is the advantage of internet we will get:
1. Source of Information:
a. News
b. Science
c. History
d. Community or forum
e. Indication media
f. Communication media
g. Message sharing media.
2. Source of entertainment.
3. Source of trading.
4. Source of education
While, bellow is the disadvantages of internet accessing:
1. Virus broadcasting
2. Pornography
3. Gaming
4. Crimes like:
a. Carding (to buy with the account of other people in internet).
b. Keyloger (a person who records all character form key log)
c. Cyber war
5. Bidet
How to solve the above disadvantages?
To make our networking is trusted is giving a good information about it in internet. We must a computer with an updated antivirus so it can detect all viruses which can make our computer error, and when we use internet we must try to open only for good information.
Wow…it is the technology which is now make this globalization era. But we must remember that we must only choose much good information in accessing internet.
